This policy explains what information Gateway Wizard, LLC handles when you visit gatewaywizard.com, buy a Pro license, contact us or use our plugins.
Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
Gateway Wizard, LLC is a Florida limited liability company, 160 W. Camino Real #784, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Contact: [email protected].
Card data
The plugins send card data from the shopper’s browser straight to the merchant’s gateway: NMI, Authorize.net, or the NMI-based provider the merchant picked. Full card numbers never reach the merchant’s server or ours.
What the plugins send us
Nothing. The plugins send no data to gatewaywizard.com.
Freemius
Checkout, licensing, renewals, invoices and your customer account are handled by Freemius. Payment details are entered with Freemius, never on our site. See Freemius’s privacy policy.
When you activate a free edition, it asks whether you’d like to opt in to Freemius. You can skip, and the plugin works the same. If you opt in, Freemius receives your name and email address, your site’s address and title, your WordPress and PHP versions and site language, the plugin’s version and whether it’s active, and, unless you switch it off, the names and versions of your installed plugins and themes, and we can see them. We use them to send plugin updates, security notices and occasional offers. You can opt out at any time from the Plugins screen. The deactivation feedback form also contacts Freemius. Pro editions contact Freemius for license activation and updates.
Support email
Support is by email. Please never email us API keys, transaction keys, passwords or card numbers.
Provider requests
If you ask to be told when we support your provider, we keep your email address and the provider you searched for, use them only to email you about that provider, and delete them once we’ve emailed you or after 12 months, whichever comes first.
This website
gatewaywizard.com runs on WordPress behind Cloudflare.
Analytics
gatewaywizard.com doesn’t use analytics or advertising services today. If we add an analytics service, we’ll update this policy first to say which service, what it collects and how to opt out.
Cookies
We don’t set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from abuse and bots. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. When you use checkout or your account, Freemius sets its own cookies, described in its privacy policy.
Email marketing
If you opt in from a free plugin, we may email you about plugin updates, security notices, tips and occasional offers. Freemius sends emails about your purchases, such as receipts, license details and renewal reminders. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can opt out of the plugin’s data sharing at any time from the Plugins screen.
How long we keep information
- Support email: for as long as we need it to help you, and up to 3 years after our last conversation.
- Website and server logs: up to 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate abuse or a security problem.
- Purchase, license and invoice records: kept by Freemius under its own policy; any copies we keep are held for up to 7 years for tax and accounting.
- Provider requests (your email address and the provider you searched for): until we’ve emailed you about that provider or for 12 months, whichever comes first.
We delete or anonymize information once it’s no longer needed for these purposes.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, or to object to or limit how we use it. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we’ll reply within 30 days. For purchase and license data held by Freemius, we’ll pass your request on, or you can contact Freemius directly. We don’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising. If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we’ll also email active customers before it takes effect.
